On September 11, the 2nd Form on the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and Promoting the Cooperation between International Capacity and Equipment Manufacturing held by the 13th China-ASEAN Expo was convened in Nanning Guangxi. Vice Minister of Commerce Gao Yan attended the activity and delivered a keynote speech.

Gao said that the consensuses reached by leaders at the G20 Hangzhou Summit and the joint declaration of capacity cooperation of the 19th China-ASEAN (10+1) Leaders' Meeting and the 25th Anniversary Summit of the Establishment of Dialogue Relationship between China and ASEAN described a more magnificent blueprint for promoting the China-ASEAN capacity cooperation.

Gao pointed out that the China-ASEAN trade and economic relationship has enjoyed a rapid development in recent years and the capacity cooperation has been warming up. Under the background of the profound adjustment of the international industrial specialization, accelerating the construction of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" and the China-ASEAN capacity cooperation was conducive to linking up the supply and demand of all countries on the different development stage, enhancing the complementary advantages and the inclusive development of both sides, creating more market demand and employment opportunities for all countries and injecting more everlasting development strength into the China-ASEAN economy. China is willing to take the strong power of the common construction of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" to further deepen the capacity cooperation with the ASEAN countries, promote the common development and long-term prosperity of the local region and bring tangible benefits for the people of China and the ASEAN countries.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Peng Qinghua, Deputy Director of the State Development and Reform Commission Ning Jizhe, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Liu Zhenmin and the Secretary-General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia and the Second Minister of Trade and Industry of Malaysia attended and addressed the forum. About 500 representatives from the relevant government, organizations and enterprises of China and the ASEAN countries participated in the forum.
